Big Four IT Co.s See Core Operations Stagnate in Q1
This is based on the Q1 '08 results of Tata Consultancy Services (TCS), Infosys Technologies, Wipro and Satyam Computer Services. While sales rose by modest 0.7 percent in dollar terms, aggregate net profit (PAT) saw 4 percent drop quarter-on-quarter . This suggests that companies struggled to grow their core operations during the quarter
