A consistent performer that has been making it to the Global Services 100 list as well as the top 10 list in the Best Performing BPO Provider for the past two years, WNS is this time winner in the Finance & Accounting Outsourcing (FAO) category.

The FAO practice at WNS has more than doubled its revenues in the past year alone. Today, 4,500 people out of a total of 17,000 work in this group at WNS. About 25 percent of services that WNS offers fall under customer services or voice-based processes, 60 percent are transaction processing/F&A related, and the rest 15 percent is a mix of very high-end analytics services.

“WNS has been very creative in structuring deals that meet both our operational and financial needs,” says Don Hill, Director, Customer Advocacy, Travelocity, a provider of consumer-direct travel services for the leisure and business. WNS provides customer service, ticketing, F&A, and analytics services to Travelocity.

As of now, 55 percent of WNS’ earnings come from the U.K. and continental Europe, and the remaining from the U.S. market. The company plans to continue ramping up its European presence by actively considering opening delivery centers in Eastern Europe, as also in Latin America and the Philippines. This will enable the company to offer a wider range of options to the customers while deepening their language capabilities. As we go to press, WNS declared opening of its 14th delivery center in Bucharest.
