This 2007 Global Services-Tholons Study ranks top 50 emerging outsourcing cities for sourcing IT and BPO Services. As there are some global outsourcing cities that stand as clear winners, we have kept the top five obvious choices out of this ranking that need no introduction. The ranking table below also lists some country specific information like GDP, currency and exchange rate, and the standard time zone for all cities.
Further, a city that offers excellent call-center services may not have skills and infrastructure to provide, say, engineering services. This makes it even more necessary for a customer to understand which location can provide a certain kind of services better. The second table in this article lists these global cities by functions.
