The Texas Department of Information Resources (DIR) and a Lockheed Martin-led team have signed a five-year seat-management services contract worth over $400 million.

Under the terms of the deal, Lockheed Martin along with other companies will compete for managed services task orders that will be awarded under DIR's contract in future. The contract entails the provisioning of various services including hardware and software update, onsite support services, move/add/change services, helpdesk support, asset management and security services.
