The U.S. Department of Defense (DoD) has awarded a 10-year, $930 million support services contract to SAIC, a U.S.-based IT and engineering services provider. The contract has a base period of five years and five one-year extension options. The base period of the contract is worth about $465 million and the extension options are valued at $93 million per year.

Under the terms of the contract, SAIC will deliver various technical services such as integration of IT systems, performance monitoring and validation of testing methods to the department’s Joint Test and Evaluation Program Office.
