The U.S. Department of Homeland Security (DHS) has awarded a five-year, $39.2 million deal to SAIC, a U.S.-based IT and engineering services provider, to provide security services to customs and border protection.
Under the terms of the contract, SAIC will be required to perform various activities such as certification and accreditation, security-risk assessments, security test and evaluation, system architecture, communication-security services and technology policy and administration for DHS.
