Caribbean Airlines has recently decided to increase the frequency of flights between Port-of-Spain and New York , and Port-of-Spain and Toronto . The flights will also be available within the Port-of-Spain, Georgetown , Guyana and Bridgetown , Barbados . The flights will start services from June 1st 2007. The fares to New York and Toronto start from $199. So if you are planning a summer holiday to the Caribbean , extend it for visiting business parks or service providers' offices or vice versa.

There are drawbacks, too, to outsourcing work to the Caribbean — safety being on the top of the list to pull the region down. The region sees the most murders in the world — the annual murder rate is 30 per 100,000 population, according to United Nation 2002 data.
