3i Infotech has acquired stake in two companies — Professional Access (PA), a U.S.-based IT-solutions provider, and e-enable technologies, business-intelligence services provider based in India.

The company acquired about 51% stake in PA for about $12 million. PA provides various e-commerce services for banking, financial services and insurance and retail segment. It reported revenue of about $24 million in the previous financial year. 3i Infotech has the rights to acquire the remaining 49% stake of the company within the next two years.
