Xansa has secured the first multiprocess HR outsourcing deal within the U.K. financial-services sector, by signing a five-year contract with Lloyds TSB.

The service covers HR functions including administration, recruitment and existing helpdesks for training, advice and guidance and general queries.

Around 150 people situated in the group’s offshore delivery centers in India will deliver the service.

Xansa will work with Lloyds TSB to develop, host and support new recruitment and management information platforms and to transform HR processes.

The contract extends Xansa’s partnership with Lloyds TSB, which currently comprises IT, finance and accounting outsourcing and a portfolio of complex industry-specific back office processes.

The re-engineering of HR processes will allow U.K. staff to focus on face-to-face support, policy guidance and other specialist HR services to employees and line managers.
