Networking-equipment manufacturer, Netgear, now has an engineering center in Beijing, China. According to an announcement by Chinese IT-Services company, Achievo Corporation, the company has opened an engineering center for Netgear within its newly opened facilities at Beijing. This is the first time that the Santa Clara, Calif.-based company has offshored development to China, though it has existing manufacturing facilities in China.
