Affiliated Computer Services Inc. (ACS), has announced that it has been awarded a multimillion dollar ITO contract with Burger King Corp., a global leader in the restaurant industry.

Under the terms of the five-year contract, ACS will manage Burger King’s entire global enterprise server and end-user computing environments. ACS’ end-to-end infrastructure solution will include enterprise-server hosting and systems engineering, system management, print and mail services and end-user computing. ACS will also deliver integrated general-support services, such as monitoring, helpdesk and problem and change management. The contract adds to the growing list of global clients ACS is serving from both domestic and foreign data-center facilities, and expands ACS’ footprint in the restaurant industry.
