Infinite Computer Solutions India, has announced the acquisition of the Hyderabad-based BPO firm Datagrid Services in an all-cash deal.

Infinite, which had a turnover of $100 million last fiscal, currently has four development facilities — three in the U.S.A. and one in Bangalore, India. The company has now chosen Hyderabad as a major development center.

“Hyderabad marks Infinite’s next phase of growth and consolidation,” said Upinder Zutshi, CEO, Infinite. Zutshi said Datagrid, the first BPO company to be acquired by Infinite, would operate as a wholly owned subsidiary.

Zutshi added that the acquisition was part of Infinite’s growth strategy to achieve a turnover of $300 million by 2009.
