Seven U.S.-based IT services providers have been awarded 10-year Indefinite Delivery/Indefinite Quantity (ID/IQ) engineering services task orders collectively worth a maximum of $19.25 billion. Four of the selected providers include CSC, Booz Allen Hamilton, CACI and Lockheed Martin. The remaining vendors include Sensor Technologies, ViaTech and USFalcon. Under the terms of the agreement, the providers will be providing engineering, logistics and acquisition-service support for the U.S. Army Command, control, communication, computer, intelligence, surveillance and reconnaissance (C4ISR) systems.
The contract services will include thermal imaging, imaging intensification, advanced optics for night vision devices, counter-mine site technology, signals intelligence and electronic-warfare measures.
