Atos Origin seems to have made a good beginning to the year 2006. Over the past week, it signed two significant outsourcing deals. It won a 10-year deal worth €150 million ($181 million) with Symrise, the world’s fourth-largest producer of fragrances and flavours. Symrise will outsource its complete IT infrastructure to Atos Origin, including management of applications and IT infrastructure, consultancy, project activities and development of software applications, from Feb 1, 2006.

Earlier, Atos Origin was awarded the contract to host and manage the computing center of Hong Kong government, which comprises 10 IT infrastructure systems from seven government departments.
