The Ten Faces of Innovation comes at a time when voices from corporate and media herald innovation as a critical ingredient of any growing economy. The book gives a human face to this all-important ingredient. It is about the individuals and the teams that fuel innovation inside successful organizations. It carves out three personas — learning, organizing and building — into which 10 categories of individuals have been built. The categories range from an anthropologist, who brings new learning and insights into the organization; to the experimenter, who prototypes new ideas continually; the collaborator, who brings eclectic groups together and often leads from the middle of the pack; the story teller, who builds both internal morale and external awareness; and so on. With engaging case studies on how organizations have used innovation as a tool in their progression, the book is an effective guide for nurturing and sustaining the culture of innovation.
